Carrier Lane Search

Carrier Lane Search helps you quickly find carriers who have historically run loads on similar routes. The system uses saved load data to match carriers to lanes, making it easier to select the right carrier when building a new load.

Prerequisites

Before using Carrier Lane Search:

  • Equipment types must be added under Carriers >> Equipment.
  • A Carrier Lane Status must be configured in Settings >> Configuration Options. Once a load reaches that status, it will be used to calculate your Carrier Lane list.

Set Up Carrier Lane Status

  1. Go to Settings >> Configuration Options.
  2. Locate the Carrier Lane Status setting and select the load status you want to use as the trigger.
  3. Click Save.

Assign Equipment to a Carrier

  1. Go to the Carriers tab and open the carrier's profile.
  2. Scroll down to the Carrier Equipment section.
  3. Select an equipment type from the dropdown list.
  4. To add more equipment types, click Add New Row.
  5. To set a default equipment type, check the box under the Default column.
  6. To remove an equipment type, click Remove.
  7. Click Save.

Using Carrier Lane Search on a Load

  1. Open or create a load on the Load Screen.
  2. Scroll down to the Carrier section.
  3. Click the Carrier Search tab. This tab only appears when a carrier has not yet been assigned to the load.
  4. A list of carriers will appear based on recorded lane data in your system.
  5. To email the load details to selected carriers, check the box next to each carrier's name and click Email Carriers.
