Bulk Delete Loads
Before You Use This Article
- Access needed: Load Manager login and permission to use this screen, report, setting, or workflow.
- Use this article when: you are creating, updating, dispatching, documenting, importing, exporting, or tracking a load in Load Manager.
- Use a different article when: you need the company-specific dispatch document instead; brokers should use Rate Confirmation Layout and Features, dispatch services should use Dispatch Report Overview for Dispatch Services, and trucking companies should use Dispatch Report Overview for Carriers and Trucking Companies. For full setup order, start with Freight Brokers, Carriers, Owner-Operators, and Trucking Companies, or Dispatch Services.
Load Manager allows authorized users to delete multiple loads at one time. Use this feature carefully. Deleted loads cannot be restored, even by Load Manager support.
Before You Delete Loads
Only delete loads that your company is certain it no longer needs. If you may need to view a load later for history, accounting, customer service, or recordkeeping, change the load status to Cancelled instead of deleting it.
Bulk delete is generally used for loads in a limited status, such as Spot or Cancelled. If the loads are in another status, change the status first before using the delete option.
Who Can Use Bulk Delete
The Delete Loads option is permission-based. If you do not see it, your user role may not have permission to delete loads. Contact your Load Manager administrator if you believe you should have access.
Open Delete Loads
- Log in to Load Manager.
- Go to the All Loads screen.
- Open the Delete Loads submenu option.

When the confirmation message appears, read it carefully before continuing.

Select the Loads to Delete
- Select the load status you want to delete, such as Spot or Cancelled.
- Click Delete Loads.
- Confirm the selection when prompted.

After the Delete Runs
Load Manager may take a moment to finish deleting the selected loads. When it is done, the system displays a message and a list of the loads that were deleted.

Change Loads to Spot or Cancelled First
If the loads you want to delete are not already in an eligible status, update their status first.
- Go to All Loads.
- Select the loads you want to update.
- Use the bulk edit option to change the selected loads to Spot or Cancelled.
- Return to Delete Loads when the loads are ready for deletion.

Important Reminders
- Bulk delete removes all loads in the selected status that match the delete action.
- Deleted loads cannot be restored.
- Use Cancelled when you need to keep the load available for future reference.
- If you do not see the Delete Loads option, ask your administrator to review your permissions.
