How to prevent users from editing Loads with a specific Load Status

Settings/Roles/Load Status

 Overview

This allows you to control what load status's a User Role can edit. However this setting does not apply unless security setting 5013 is turned on for this role.

Description:

The first this you must do is click on Settings menu, then User Roles menu. Select the Role that you want to use this feature, i.e. Sales Representative. Scroll down to locate Permission ID 5013 and make sure it is checked.  No need to save after you update it since it will automatically save. See screen shot below.

Next click on the “Load Status” tab. This tab is next to the “Permissions” tab at the top of the Permissions section.

To remove the ability to edit a load with a specific status, uncheck the box next to the Load Status you want to prevent the user from editing. In the screen shot below, any users of the Sales Representative role will not be able to edit loads that have a load status of SPOT, EDI, DISPATCHED, INVOICE, PAID, COMPLETED OR CANCELLED.
