Load Manager includes email tools that let you send rate confirmations, invoices, and other documents directly from the platform. Complete this one-time setup before using those features.
Where to Enter Your Email Settings
- Go to the Users tab.
- Click on your username to open your user profile.
- Fill in the fields in the Email section on the left side of the page.
- Check Verify SMTP Settings and click Save.
If your settings are valid, you will see a confirmation message. If not, review your entries and try again.
Email Fields
- Email: Your email address.
- SMTP Server Address: The outgoing mail server for your email provider.
- SMTP Username: Your email address (same as the Email field).
- SMTP Password: For most providers, this is an App Password — not your regular login password. See provider-specific instructions below.
- SMTP Port: Either 465 or 587 depending on your provider.
- TLS or SSL: Your provider will use one or the other. Check your provider's documentation if unsure.
Common SMTP Settings by Provider
Gmail
Office 365 / Outlook
- SMTP Server:
smtp-mail.outlook.com
- Port:
587 | TLS
- Microsoft requires an App Password for third-party SMTP access. Generate one in your Microsoft account security settings under App Passwords.
Yahoo Mail
- SMTP Server:
smtp.mail.yahoo.com
- Port:
465 | SSL
- Yahoo requires an App Password. Generate one in your Yahoo Account Security settings.
Yahoo Business Mail
- SMTP Server:
smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com
- Port:
465 | SSL
- Yahoo Business also requires a separate App Password for third-party apps.
Other Providers
For other email providers, search for your provider's SMTP settings online (example: "Zoho Mail SMTP settings"). Most providers publish these in their help documentation.
