Locate My Freight is the Load Manager mobile app for drivers. Use it when a driver should receive load information through the mobile app instead of opening a Driver Web App browser link.
Before you start: Applies to carrier, owner-operator, and trucking company accounts.
The app helps drivers review assigned load details, update stop activity, share location updates, and upload load documents from their phone.
When To Use Locate My Freight
- Use Locate My Freight when your workflow uses the downloadable mobile app.
- Use the Driver Web App when the driver should open a browser link without installing an app.
- Use MacroPoint or another tracking provider only when that provider is enabled for the load or company workflow.
What Drivers Can See
After a driver opens an assigned load, the mobile app can show load details such as:
- Company and dispatcher information
- Load number
- Dispatcher phone and email
- Weight, equipment, truck, trailer, and reference details when available
- Carrier or driver notes when your settings allow them to display
- Critical Notes to Driver when entered on the load
- Pickup and delivery stop details
What Drivers Can Do
Depending on your Load Manager settings and the information saved on the load, drivers can use the app to:
- Open assigned load details.
- Update the load status when mobile status updates are enabled.
- Mark stop activity such as Arrived and Departed.
- Open stop addresses in the phone's map application.
- Upload load documents, PODs, or photos.

- GPS Tracking Interval: Controls how often GPS tracking is expected to update when tracking is active.

Troubleshooting
- The driver cannot find the load: Confirm the load was sent using the Mobile App option and that the driver information on the load is correct.
- The driver cannot update status: Confirm the status is allowed for mobile use under Settings >> Load Status.
- Location is not updating: Confirm the driver allowed location access on the phone and has an active data connection.
- Documents are not uploading: Ask the driver to retry with a stable connection and confirm the file or photo was selected before submitting.
- The driver is using a browser link: Use the Driver Web App article instead. The browser link workflow is separate from Locate My Freight.
