Why of the load miles not calculating automatically?

The system is designed to calculate the miles between each delivery and pickup location listed using the addresses entered.  For various reasons regarding data entry progress the "miles field" may need to be manual refreshed to calculate the miles.  To refresh the miles please click the refresh button located on the load screen by the miles text box, as shown below:  This should solve it 90% of the time.

 

f the miles are still not calculating please do the following: 

• Confirm all pickup and deliver addresses are correct with no extra information in the address box
  
• Click on the map icon  next to the address field to confirm that they system is calculating the address.
  
• If the map does not bring up the address, confirm the address is standard format one more time, using a service such as Google Maps can often provide standardization for an address 
  
• Once you have confirm the address is correct, hit the save button.
  
• Next scroll down the the miles field and click the refresh button one more time 
  

If the miles are still not calculating correctly, please let us know.  We can review the issue and provide a resolution.  If you submit a ticket please include the load number were the error occurred.
